Ausenco wins Australian Exporter of the Year Award.

Ausenco has been awarded ‘National Exporter of the Year’ in the Services Category of the 2004 Australian Export Awards held at the Gold Coast Convention Centre on 9 December 2004. Now in its 41st year, the awards have earned the reputation throughout the Australian business community as one of the most significant industry awards on the business calendar.
This pleasing result has both highlighted and reinforced what has been a very successful year for the company whose current major export markets include Africa, China, South East Asia Europe and Eastern Europe.
“This is a fantastic result given the high quality of finalists from the other states. By focussing our clients and developing our people we will be able to continue to deliver great outcomes,” said Zimi Meka, Ausenco’s Managing Director. “This tops off a great year for the company and 2005 is looking potentially better.”
Ausenco currently is completing projects with a total capital value of AU $2 billion for projects in various parts of the world. Countries where Ausenco is currently active include; China, Indonesia, Laos, Mongolia, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Spain, Pacific Islands, Tanzania, Turkey, and Vietnam.
