Ausenco wins Gold Industry Industry Supplier of the Year.

Ausenco was awarded the Gold Industry Supplier of the Year Award presented by Mr Robert de Crespigny at the Annual Australian Gold Council's Dinner in Perth on 19 April.

The award is promoted by the Australian Gold Council (AGC) and recognises outstanding performance by a gold industry supplier for the good of the gold industry over the previous 12 month period. The Award is viewed by the AGC as important to the Australian gold sector's ongoing success, expansion and community support.

The Award is in recognition of Ausenco's contribution in a diverse range of areas, including working in partnership with gold companies to create positive outcomes, strategic alliances with other companies, innovation in improving industry outcomes, relationship with local and indigenous communities, the environment, sustainability, investment in the future of the gold industry, technological research and application, occupational health and safety, promotion of the gold industry both domestically and internationally and employee relationships.

In acknowledging receipt of the award Ausenco's Managing Director Mr Zimi Meka made special mention of the contribution made by the 300 plus Ausenco staff in delivering projects utilising Australian gold processing technology in difficult off-shore environments. These opportunities allowed the company's staff to provide innovative solutions in challenging locations around the world.

The Gold Industry Supplier of the Year Award was judged by an independent panel comprising, Mr Robert Champion de Crespigny AC, Mr Dale Elphinstone and Mr Hugh Morgan AC.
